I read your book in my high school english class at Shendehowa with Mrs. Jaques. Your book is honestly had a different impact on me than any other book I’ve read in high school… I remember last year my first book assigned was “The Adventures of Huckelberry Fin”. It sounds like a book I would be more interested in… but I HATED it. I’ve talked about your book and how differently it has made me look at school and college so much, that my little sister, Becca, is annoyed. It even helped me apply for colleges. I wasn’t stressed at all because I was thinking of all of the stress you and others in China at that time had to go through. So, THANK YOU! And thanks for taking the time to read this
Dear Mr. Da Chen, I’m am from south lake middle school and I’m extremely sorry for my classmates behavior. They shouldn’t be posting stupid things on YOUR website. Anyways, I love your book China’s Son. How did you remember each and exactly every conversation you had with someone?! That is like photographic memory. Also, I felt the same way when your mom got slapped, I would want to “beat him up” if that happend to me but if you did, you probolay would be sent to execution or labor camp.

Dear Da, I’m terribly sorry about the immature things my classmates said about you and the book. They certainly didn’t mean it…. Thay just thought it was funny but by now they should of realized that it is wrong and very bad.
